Put-In  / Take-Out

The put-in is at the camping ground in Radal, at the confluent of the Rio Claro with another river of the same size.
The take-out is at the bridge, on which you cross the river the first time when coming from Molina. Best to park your car inside of one of the camping grounds there.

Charakter:

      Short after the put-in.

 Distance

  approx. 8 km

Gauge

LW  /  MW  /  HW

After the confluent at the put-in, you should not have to much ground contact, otherwise there is not enough water.
There should be no upper limit, the river has only some 4 places, where the difficulties may rise by max. one grade.

The water level at our descent may be considered the lower limit.

 Difficulty

WW II - III (some smaller sections up to III, few up to III+)
Predominant open river bed with wide rapids, some more narrow and technical rapids.

The margin is always accessible but the river runs in a deep valley without access to the road.

Fahrtstrecke

Easy WW in a large river bed, but in a deep gorge without access to the road.

Impressive are the cut-outs through the conglomerate rocks.

From time to time there are some more technical sections...

... which are sometimes even worth to have a look at.

Most of the time the line is easy and visible form the boat.

On easy WW you may enjoy the beautiful scenery...

... and always when you think it is becoming too boring, the river surprises with a nice spot...

... especially where the valley becomes more narrow.

The last rapid, short before the put-out.
