The most difficult part and criteria for a run of this section ist the „French Corner or „Frances“
The name is given from the first descent of a Frenchman, whereas the legend says that this descent ended
up in a very bad swim of the rapid.

The first 3 km are ideal for a warm-up...

Difficulty

WW III+, V
The first 3 km offer easy WW for a warm-up. The difficult section starts with the “Purgatorio“. Short after this rapid you reach the criteria of this section, with steep and massive WW, where you should not miss the line. The section may be scouted from the street on the way to the put-in.

On the last 2 km the difficulties are becoming less.
For the core section, MW of the other sections means already a high flow. A sure role is evident for this section, swimming will be very dangerous and definitely very unpleasant.
